Making an Appointment
Anyone desiring counseling may schedule an appointment by calling (410) 265-7291. Morning and Evening appointments are available Monday through Thursday from 9AM until 9PM. Weekend appointments are also available on the 1st and 3rd Saturday from 9AM until 1PM.
Rates
Our basic individual counseling rate is $90.00 per hour. Payments can be made in the form of Cash, Checks, VISA, MasterCard credit cards, Debit Cards, and Flexible Spending account cards. The Center also accepts some insurance. The Renaissance Center Staff will discuss actual fees with you when you call. You can obtain specific information by calling the Center. All payments are due at time of service.*
Discount Options and Financial Assistance
Many counselees have been assisted by their churches with counseling fees, so we suggest that you check with your Pastor or Deacon's Board. At this time MSBC is unable to offer financial assistance to counselees.
About Insurance Coverage
Insurance companies have different requirements and guidelines for covering counseling fees. If you are eligible for coverage, you still may need to pay a deductible and/or a co-payment. Please contact your insurance carrier for explanation of your benefits.
*If you are eligible for coverage under your insurance plan you are still responsible for the balance. The Renaissance Center asks that you pay for your counseling before your appointment and then ask for direct reimbursement from your insurance company, if we are out of network with your carrier.
