The Renaissance Christian Counseling Center’s theme is sometimes all it takes is knowing someone cares. The Center offers individual and family counseling for a number of areas. And, the Center also offers group therapy. A number of groups will begin meeting at the Center in this fall. In group therapy approximately 6-10 individuals meet face-to-face with a trained group therapist.
Group therapy allows individuals to give mutual support, offer alternatives, and comfort members through their difficulties. The group also allows a person to develop new ways of relating to people. The following groups are being coordinated at the Center.:
* A Substance Abuse Support Group will hold day and evening sessions
*An 8-week Domestic Violence Support Group session
*An 8-week Sexual Assault Support Group for victims
Insurance is accepted for all programs. Consider a support group and begin to see that you are not alone and that there is hope and help.
